The gift is bloody awesome! Bill, you have a great package--haha. And the handwriting is so very cute. Yes even with my having to squint at it to decipher it. I came back from school and tackled the box that waited for me. The goods were there beneath tons of those little foamy things and I felt like I was fishing out prizes--like a little jack in the box, you know. The cookies were yummy and although my mum grumbled about my giving out my address to "strange people over the internet" she couldn't complain about the cookies. In fact, she helped herself to them and quite amply I might say--but that was before my brother got to it. Now I've got to find some time to watch Escaflowne and Berserk. I'm eager to wrap up some things with the little parcel I'm putting together. Sitting here, listening to Rain and munching on shortbread cookies, I'm quite happy. Not at all a bad way to start off the new semester.

On another note, I swore I would never take another Art class again. Yeah, that worked out nicely. Today I spent the period gluing a flower collage to folders--snapping scissors to sublimate my desire for getting a hold of a blowtorch and blasting anyone who makes a persnickety comment on my ultragirliness. Taking Art along with Lit Mag defeats my excuse for being in a creative limbo. Expect to see the badly artistic side of me in the non-too-distant-too-bad-for-you-future. With that, I must go. Go to homework and all its ~endless~ joys.
